McGill Engineers donate $24,000 to President’s Choice Children’s Charity

On the penultimate day of the EUS’s signature event, the OAP managers presented a cheque for $24,000 to support the PC choice children’s charity. The money, raised from the profits of the two-day OAP lite event last April will go to support childhood nutrition programs and children with special needs. Serge Gauthier, who works for PCCC, and Carole Surprenant, manager of the Sherbrooke and Parc avenue Provigo, accepted the donation on behalf of PCCC. “It’s a great opportunity to engage with the community, and support an important cause”, said Mr Gautier who visited the event for the first time. “It’s a great atmosphere. [It] makes me want to come back”.

The PCCC operates has operated for 25 years and has raised over $100 million to support children across Canada.
